This is a large bowl completely carved on the inside with animals.
This was a project I worked on. Hub caps were mailed out and painted by artists. Mine showed a Bear on the 4 Sacred Colors with leather fringe added to the bottom.
My studio is my "haven and sanctuary."

Moon Bear Pottery and Indian Arts is dedicated to the preservation and understanding of Native American art. I have been creating art for over 60 years. It has been my life long passion. I feel Blessed that I have been able to spend my life persuing a career that fills me with joy as well as sharing this gift with others.
I work in many different mediums: Clay, painting, bronze, drawing, block prints, beading and dolls. I use Native American themes and Nature throughout my art creations. I like to include "stories" within my art. These stories are woven deep within the pieces and can be "re-told" to better explain the finished work. The stories also serve as a way to keep the "Oral Traditions" of storytelling alive.
